When I was a little girl, your Sunday shoes were round toed, black patten leather with a strap across the foot. They were fondly called your "Mary Jane's." As time goes around, so do styles and it seems that the style has returned, a little updated. I also noted that Carly Jane wears "Mary Jane's" - Hmmm......do you think there is a connection? I couldn't resist this cute little numbers when Alco had a great sale. I've been looking for flat, comfortable, brown and black that I could wear with pants to work. I love my "Janes!"

I LOVE Mary Jane's too! When I was four or five my mom made me a doll that was quickly named Mary Jane. I have always loved that doll (she is still on my bed) and that name. And so I have always loved the shoes that acommpany :). Is there anything better than a comfortable pair of Mary Jane's? I just don't know.

Cute! I have been shoe shopping the past few days. I had Gavin's feet measured....he's a size 11 and 2e wide, which means his feet are double wide width. The boy is impossible to find shoes for. AAAAHHHHH!!! Poor kid has enormous feet and a gigantic head. At least he's balanced.
Cute blog. I heard you had a blog at Megan's shower on Saturday and found it. I am excited to be able to get caught up on the family since we never see anyone. I told my dad I am going to plan a Christiansen family reunion next summer so everyone can get caught up.
