. . . Spring beak continiues. . .
One last fling for spring break. Saturday afternoon we decided to hike to the Citadel. It was such a breathing taking trip.
Round trip was about 3.8 miles. The weather was perfect, not too hot yet a breeze to keep you cool in the hike.

Memories of My Mom
As the empty nesters were hiking Arch Canyon, the sweet signs of spring were abundant.
Pussy Willows!
I couldn't help but think of my mom. When I was a little girl, she would sit me on her lap, take my arm and while slowly walking her fingers up my arm; she would recite this little poem. It is recited going up in a C scale and when you get to the "meows" you go back down the scale.
Her coat is silver gray
She lives down in the meadow
Not very far away
She'll always be a pussy
She'll never be a cat
For she's a pussy willow
Now what do think of that
Meow
Meow
Meow
Meow
Meow
Meow
Meew
Scat!
Spring Break
Our spring break activities. We went back to Arch Canyon to 4 wheel and then hike. We road the 4 wheeler the 9.5 miles up Arch Canyon to the end of the trail. We then hiked 7.5 miles (round trip) to see the "last arch." There are three arches all together, Angel Arch, Cathedral Arch and the last one, Keystone Arch. It was a beautiful ride, and great hike. We just had a wonderful time!

My house is a house of order. . . NOT!
Its been awhile since I updated the "construction zone!" I waited 5 weeks, yes 5 weeks to be able to rent the machine to texture the wall. So, I found my ghost buster clothes and finished sanding the rooms, put plastic EVERYWHERE and let the walls have it!
I put some sticky tiles on the floor in the closet and "sometime" we will carpet the room and do the floor boards.
And if that isn't enough chaos in one household - we started the addition to the house!

Arch Canyon - On a Spring Like Day
Yesterday couldn't have been a more perfect day. There are several things that are on the top of my favorite things to do list and now I have to say that 4 wheeling is right up there! I have been to Arch Canyon before - on the back of a 4 wheeler - but this time I drove myself!!!! I just loved every minute of it. There were a couple of "tricky" spots but I only had to have help on one spot. Just take a minute and look at all the beautiful scenery we got to enjoy. It was fabulous. I would recommend this ride to EVERYONE! At the end of the trail, we hiked about 1/4 of a mile to an arch. It was just so fun. How lucky we are to live just minutes from such beautiful places.
